If you want to lose weight quickly, I’d recommend exercise. Crash dieting can kick start weight loss, but I’m guessing you want to keep it off too! Tempting as it may be to starve yourself for those two weeks before the big party/wedding/holiday and lose weight quickly. But what about the weeks that follow the big day, when you give in to every offer of crisps, donuts and chocolates as you feel you deserve it after those weeks of having nothing but cabbage soup?

How about choosing to eat a healthy diet (which let’s be honest is going to include the odd chocolate bar) but focus on starting a new fitness regime? This combination will help you get healthier and lose weight quickly!

Thirty minutes a day is the recommended amount of exercise we should do. Remember, exercise is any kind of physical activity: running up the stairs, doing the housework, playing footie with the kids and even browsing the shops in town. If you think about this next time you’ve got to nip upstairs for something, I can guarantee you’ll charge up those stairs two at a time and in actual fact be ‘exercising’!

So if you make sure you get your basic thirty minutes of exercise a day from activities you’d be doing anyway, adding a few extra exercises isn’t going to seem such a hardship. Let’s say you’ve got a big party in a few weeks and the dress you’re wearing is strapless… once a day, grab a couple of bags of sugar and lift them up and down ten times. You could work your biceps, triceps, shoulders and chest by doing this simple task.

Use all these tips and you’ll get fitter, more toned and lose weight quickly, I promise.
